My recommendation is become a pentester, then work your way to a blue team. Or start as a blue team member and work your way to pentester.
Then you get hired by companies to find flaws with their environments. You tell them how to fix it and walk away with a lot of money and pride because you helped secure something. LoL

And then a hacker later hits you.
