I hope so too! These months have been very busy for me, and I haven't been able to code more tools... I hope to be able to continue doing so soon, I have a lot of projects in mind...

search.py -p /path/to/the/logs/file -s string-to-search
The script will generate a .txt file that will contain all the matches.
Requirements:
alive_progress==3.1.5  (I've included a progress bar and ETA, which is very convenient when working with very large files)

Here you have the code, I hope you find it useful:

The below command is equivalent to your python script
pv *.txt | grep "string"

Instal pv using "apt-get install pv"

I built a tool that's a bit overkill, but it’s been incredibly useful. First you need to take your plain text ULP logs, merge them into a single file, then manually compress them with zstdzip. Once that’s done, you can run the tool, which uses threaded streams with GPU acceleration (if it deteects a gpu) and filtering to search for credentials in the compressed .zst files.

The script features a interface that automatically detects all .zst files in the current directory, lets you choose which files to search, then asks if you’d like to search by domain, username, email, password, or a custom regex. Next, you can decide whether to display only results containing usernames, emails, or both. Lastly you are given the choice to display the results in their raw url:login:password format or in a more readable layout:

example.com     login‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ seceretpassword
example.com     email@email.com‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ somedifferentpassword
example.com     account‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎anotherepass

Results are streamed in real time to the console, and they’re also saved to a log file that’s sorted alphabetically by username, making it easy to find what you need.

If this sounds useful let me know and I have no problem sharing it for free Smile
