nano or vim?

I personally prefer touse vim for no absolute reason. Wondering what the communitie's thoughts are.

I use both, but I tend to use nano more often.

nano idk why but I've hated vim since the first time I ever used it it's hotkeys(can probably be changed in the config) just make no sense to me and nano's felt better out of the box so I like nano.

Nano is less clunky than vim. Vim gives you weird feelings when opening something, like it's damn dark screen and not so friendly UI

Nano for beginner, vim for pro since it can do way more stuff.

100% agreed, that's howit was for me. I used nano as a beginner and vim now. more capabilities

It depend on the task. I mainly use nano to rapidly edit stuff but use nano for more complex tasks
