Today I have uploaded the Le Point Database for you to download, thanks for reading and enjoy!



On 10 November 2024, a French media outlet Le Point suffered a data breach that exposed almost 967k customers records. The incident exposed almost 479k unique email addresses, genders, names, phone numbers and physical addresses, small number of lines also included dates of birth. Le Point was breached by @near.

Compromised data: Dates of birth, Email addresses, Genders, Names, Phone numbers, Physical addresses.

The .7z File's MD5 Hash is C2D7F07574EE2EA972F5289706BDEB62. In total, there are 966999 records. The file is 258.09MB uncompressed and 15.15MB compressed.

For those wondering, there dataset needs some corrections.
If you keep the lines with a valid email adress (only string test) and keep the lines with at least a phone number or an email defined, you get a dataset with 819 753 lines.


Unique emails : 479 163
Unique phone numbers : 123 058 matching the regex (^33[67][0-9]{7}\b)
